The photoshoot aimed to capture emotions through facial expressions, aligning each song with a particular raga. Using the eyes as the main focus, the audience can connect with the powerful emotions that each song tries to convey through the photographs. To add an Indian touch, simple elements like a bindi, a pair of jhumka, and a nose ring were added to the model, making it more relatable and evoking the essence of Indian culture.

The book revolves around the role of ragas in Hindi film music which is responsible for establishing the mood and tone of each song. It highlights the influence of ragas in conveying a range of emotions from joy to sorrow. I wanted to portray this concept through photography of facial expressions ,keeping the human eye as the main focal point, as the eye is a powerful tool of communicating emotions. The book offers readers a visual journey that deepens their understanding of emotions expressed in Hindi film music.
